When I seek to know you in relationship, I find that you are better than I could have ever imagined. Your love never lets go and your faithfulness knows no end. When I consider your attributes, I discover that to live like you means to consider others in greater measure than I consider my own desires.

Lord, I need more of your wisdom in my life. Help me to see from your perspective and to understand how it is you want me to live. I don’t want to mindlessly live according to my whims. Empower me to live with purpose and mercy as my covering.
